Banjarmasin, December 4, 2024. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing the best service and supporting the development of the national logistics industry. Through the implementation of Management Walkthrough (MWT) activities at the new operational satellite terminal, namely Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin, IPCC emphasizes its focus on improving service quality and operational efficiency. This activity was attended directly by the IPCC Board of Commissioners and Directors, who carried out a comprehensive inspection of facilities and operational processes in the field.
"With the presence of the new satellite in Banjarmasin, we want to ensure that logistics needs in this region are well met, while also making a real contribution in supporting efficient vehicle distribution, especially for domestic and inter-island needs. "This step is a concrete form of our commitment to support regional economic growth through superior logistics services," said Bagus Dwipoyono, Director of Operations and Technical at IPCC. This new satellite, which has an area of 45 m², is managed by the IPCC Satellite Operations and Terminal Division, designed to handle various types of cargo, namely completely built-up units (CBU), heavy equipment, trucks and motorbikes. The review carried out at MWT aims to ensure that all facilities and operational processes run according to the high standards set by the company, while maximizing the capacity and potential of the new terminal which has become part of the IPCC since October 1, 2024.
Apart from carrying out operational inspections, MWT activities also provide an opportunity for the IPCC Board of Commissioners and Directors to discuss directly with the operational team in the field. To listen to input, identify challenges, and explore opportunities that can be optimized in the Banjarmasin satellite. "Through this collaborative approach, we are confident that we can create loading and unloading solutions that are innovative, reliable, efficient and in line with our customers' needs," added Wing Megantoro, Director of Finance, Human Capital and Risk Management, who was also present at this visit. The Banjarmasin Satellite is part of IPCC's expansion strategy to expand service coverage while strengthening the Company's position as a trusted partner in managing vehicle terminals. This new satellite is expected to be able to meet customer needs in various sectors, from motor vehicles to heavy equipment. With this step, IPCC is increasingly ready to support the growth of the logistics industry in Indonesia and provide added value to customers through high quality services.
