As the Company's commitment to IPCC Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSR) Caring for the community in the Company's operational areas, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) held the launch of the IPCC MSME KUAT TJSL Program (Develop Business Over Challenges) which started with Management Training for 30 active MSMEs from RW 08, 09 and 10 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta. This series of events will be held over the next 3 months with training materials, skills improvement, training programs, and giving certificates to MSME training participants to provide an understanding of the importance of financial management by separating personal finances from business finances so that it is hoped that it can improve the economy of citizens. The event which was held at the IPCC Pitstop Cafe was attended by senior management including SM of Finance Agus Wahyudi, SM of Commercial, Nugroho Atmosudiro, Karsini as head of the MSME group RW 08 Kalibaru, Lecturers and Practitioners, Aza Hasanudin, SE, M.Ak as well as MSMEs in Kalibaru environment.
As one (1) series of IPCC Cares for Community Development which successfully launched IPCC Cares GEMBIRA some time ago with a focus on the growth and development of children and pregnant women, IPCC is back with the CSRprogram, namely IPCC MSME STRONG which focuses on independence and improving the economy of local residents. The event, which was opened directly by the person in charge of CSR, ASM Corporate Communications and CSR, Mochamad Ilhamsyah, said that the focus of the Company's CSR distribution was in line with the Pelindo group's CSR principles, namely Education, Environment, Governance and MSMEs, which are the Company's mandatory programs as a real contribution to improving the standard of living of the people in the environment. Companies can thus reduce unemployment rates and increase competitiveness and independence at the national level. The important point in implementing this program is that it is a concrete manifestation of the Company being present in the midst of society and jointly providing added value for both parties in line with the principle of symbiotic mutualism. MSMEs As the fundamentals of a business unit, knowledge of bookkeeping standards is required in order to record all financial transactions systematically, measurably and accurately so that business continuity can continue.
"MSMEs are a big opportunity in the national and global markets. In an effort to be able to compete, training and coaching is needed. For this reason, the IPCC is here to support MSMEs to be able to move up in class by providing financial management training so that MSMEs are able to penetrate the global arena. "This training program is divided into 2 sessions. After today's financial planning, it will be continued with digital marketing and product branding training in accordance with the demands of technological developments and the latest trends," said Ilham.
"In the current digital era, digitalization of MSMEs is needed so that it will further increase the productivity of MSMEs themselves, reduce operational costs, expand market reach and increase competitiveness," continued Nugroho.
As a country with a large market share and the fourth largest population in the world, MSMEs have a great opportunity to continue to grow and absorb jobs to overcome unemployment.
