Jakarta, May 30, 2025. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) as an entity under the management of Sub Holding Multi Terminal which focuses on the core business of the Port in the non-container/multi-purpose cargo sector, has successfully served a total cargo of 481,213 Units until April 2025, consisting of CBU, trucks/buses, heavy equipment, general cargo and motorcycles which grew quite significantly compared to the previous month, which was 30.72%. Amidst the dynamic international and domestic economic conditions in the first year of the Red and White Cabinet, the Company demonstrated its commitment to Shareholders and service users that IPCC continues to grow sustainably and continuously improve its performance, where operational performance growth was recorded at 17.14% YoY or an increase of 40,766 Units for CBU loading and unloading performance, Heavy Equipment, Trucks/Buses and Motorcycles of 445,763 Units.
Achievements from the operational side are better than last year's performance where one of the factors is influenced by the increasing number of vehicle imports, especially CBU based on BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle), HEV (Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) with a total of 17,435 units dominated by brands from China and China (BYD, Vinfast, AION and various other brands). Exports of a number of automotive brands that have production line bases in Indonesia have also increased if you look at the national car production data in April 2025 released by Gaikindo (Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries) reaching 34,663 units, growing 13.9% or a total of 144,796 units until April 2025. This data is directly proportional to the growth of the domestic automotive market where the IPCC which is part of the logistics ecosystem, especially the port sector under the management of Pelindo, is also growing. Until the period of April 2025, IPCC successfully served a total of 1,030 ship visits to IPCC-managed docks, an increase of 127 visits more (YoY) or 14.06%.
Consolidated handling of truck/bus cargo until April 2025 amounted to 63,706 units, growing by 15.91% YoY. Growth in truck/bus cargo types was dominated by environmentally friendly electric buses imported from Chinese and European brands in line with the Government's program to support environmental sustainability and achieve Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2060 through energy transition, especially for mass vehicles. Meanwhile, large-capacity trucks, especially in the domestic mining sector, also increased due to the domestic mineral downstreaming program initiated by the Government. The Company successfully recorded positive performance in handling CBU cargo until April 2025, totaling 277,512 units, increasing by 23,494 units or 9.24% YoY. This increase was dominated by imports of electric vehicles in line with the trend of using electric-based passenger vehicles and their supporting ecosystems. Citing Gaikindo data in the production report until April 2025, CBU production was recorded at 368,468 units. For the performance of Heavy Equipment cargo services, it experienced the highest increase recorded at 29.37% YoY or 2,323 units more than last year where until April 2025 IPCC managed to handle 10,232 units.
"The Company's performance both in terms of operations and commercially after the Pelindo merger, which is marked by the expansion of the Satellite Terminal operations in Belawan, Pontianak, Makassar, Balikpapan and most recently Banjarmasiin, provides its own advantages so that it is able to realize connectivity and provide benefits for customers," explained Endah Dwi Liesly (Corporate Secretary of IPCC). Endah said that after successfully expanding the work area at the Banjarmasin Satellite Terminal in the 4th quarter of 2024, IPCC proved that the company is continuously expanding and expanding the network between terminals which ultimately has an impact on revenue enhancement. IPCC also synergizes with various automakers for PDC (Pre Delivery Center) services in order to improve the Cargo Distribution Management service business in various working areas of the Company.
"After going through the first quarter of 2025, we are optimistic that with collaboration, transformation and implementation of digital systems, IPCC's performance will achieve better results than last year, supported by various strategic initiatives across all lines to support the Company to contribute better to service users, stakeholders, investors and shareholders," concluded Endah Dwi Liesly.
