STIP VISITS IPCC TO IMPROVE OPERATIONAL UNDERSTANDING OF CAR TERMINAL PORTS

Jakarta, April 28, 2025 — In order to enrich the practical insights of maritime students, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) received a work experience visit from participants of the Jakarta Maritime College (STIP) training. In an effort to improve competence and in-depth understanding of port operations, the students were invited to see firsthand the IPCC operational business process at the IPCC International Terminal and also have a short discussion. The visit was attended directly by IPCC Senior Manager, Endah Dwi Liesly and Niken Sitalaksmi Widjaja as Head of the STIP Cooperation Development Sub-Division.

This visit is part of IPCC's commitment to continue contributing to the development of human resources in the maritime sector, in line with IPCC's role as a pioneer of international-standard vehicle terminals in Indonesia. The series of sessions for this visit include operational presentations, field tours, and interactive discussions related to vehicle terminal management. Participants were given explanations about stevedoring activities (unloading and loading from ships), cargodoring (transportation from the dock to the stacking yard), receiving, delivery to vehicle stock management in the port area.

"We believe that the knowledge of ports that we have must be strengthened with real experience in the field. By opening the IPCC door for industrial visits like this, we want to equip fellow maritime pioneers of the future with a real operational picture," said Endah.

During the visit, training participants were also introduced to the implementation of the Pelindo Terminal Operating System - Car (PTOS-C) technology system that has been implemented by IPCC. Through this system, vehicle movements can be tracked in real-time, thereby increasing transparency, efficiency, and safety in terminal operations. In addition, various IPCC service innovations were also explained, such as the development of the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC), the expansion of terminal facilities in various regions, and the IPCC's strategic plan in building an integrated national vehicle logistics ecosystem. This shows how digital technology is now an inseparable part of the modern port industry.

"Through this experience, we want to foster the confidence of the training participants that they are part of a new generation that is ready to bring positive changes to the Indonesian maritime world," said Niken.

In this industrial visit, IPCC emphasized its commitment to continue contributing to the development of Indonesian maritime human resources. IPCC hopes to provide knowledge for prospective generations of professionals who are able to compete at national and international levels.
