IPCC Strengthens Synergy Between Education and Automotive Logistics

PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) hosted an academic visit for approximately 100 Marine Science students from Jenderal Soedirman University as part of the "Company Visit 2026" program. The event aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the port industry—specifically vehicle logistics—while highlighting IPCC’s strategic role in supporting the national automotive supply chain. During the presentation session, IPCC’s Assistant Senior Manager of Corporate Communication & CSR, Moch. Ilhamsyah, outlined the company profile, business services, and vehicle terminal operational processes, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

The series of activities began with a visit to the Indonesian Maritime Museum to learn about Indonesia's maritime history, followed by a presentation on IPCC and a field visit to the vehicle terminal's operational area, allowing participants to observe the company's business processes firsthand. Annisa Putri Maharani, Public Relations Project Officer for HIMAKEL Unsoed, remarked, "This activity provided a new experience while broadening our insight into port operations." Echoing this sentiment, Fatih Almeda Dikanopan, Chairperson of the Unsoed Marine Science Student Association, explained, "This company visit aims to expand our understanding of Pelindo's business operations—specifically IPCC—and is expected to open up opportunities for future collaboration." Mr. Andi, a representative from the Indonesian Maritime Museum, also encouraged the students to continue deepening their knowledge and broadening their perspectives through company visits, which serve as a means to learn directly from the industry.

Moch. Ilhamsyah, Assistant Senior Manager of Corporate Communication & CSR at IPCC, added, “We hope this visit provides a clear picture of how the port and vehicle terminal ecosystem operates. Through direct interaction with the industry, students are encouraged to further develop their competencies, broaden their perspectives, and prepare themselves to become talent capable of contributing to the advancement of the maritime sector—specifically Indonesia’s national automotive logistics.”

Through this Company Visit initiative, IPCC continues to strengthen the synergy between the industrial sector and educational institutions as part of its commitment to fostering a highly skilled workforce. Aligned with the spirit of sustainability, IPCC believes that access to practical, collaborative learning experiences serves as an investment in preparing the next generation to tackle future challenges in the maritime and logistics industries, while simultaneously promoting inclusive, quality education for all.
