PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) is a company specializing in port services, particularly automotive terminal operations, operating at Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, as well as several other ports and Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) terminals across Indonesia, including Belawan, Pontianak, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, and Makassar. In 2021, a remarkable historical event occurred for Pelindo as a whole. Four Pelindo entities across Indonesia merged into one, legally validated through Government Regulation 101 of 2021 concerning the Merger of PT Pelindo I, III, and IV (Persero) into PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero). Subsequently, Pelindo's business model underwent a change, as it established four business clusters: Pelindo Container Terminal, Pelindo Multi Terminal, Pelindo Maritime Services, and Pelindo Logistics Solutions.
Following the Pelindo merger, IPCC's share ownership portion is as follows: 71.3% by the subholding PT Pelindo Multi Terminal, 0.7% by Pelindo's subsidiary (PT MTI), and 28% of the shares are publicly held. This was followed by the launch of a new company logo to align with IPCC's entry into the Multi Terminal business cluster.
PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk was established as a separate business entity on November 5, 2012 with 99% of the shares is owned by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) and 1% by PT Multi Terminal Indonesia. Prior to its establishment, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk was merely a strategic business unit named Tanjung Priok Car Terminal (TPT) managed by the head office since June 2007.
On July 9th 2018, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk join Indonesia Stock Exchange and officially develop into a Company Public, so share of the ownership turn into 71,3% by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero), 0,7% by Multi Terminal Indonesia (sister company), and 28% by public or IPCC.
