Jakarta, August 14, 2026. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) organized Basic Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) certification training for stevedores (TKBM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Stevedore Training Agency (Badan Diklat TKBM Indonesia). The two-day training took place on August 12–13, 2026, at the Dojo Room of the International Terminal (Jakarta Branch) and was attended by 36 stevedores from PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk. This initiative is part of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, reflecting IPCC's ongoing commitment to enhancing human resource capabilities within the port sector.
This program is organized to enhance the occupational health and safety (OHS) competencies of loading and unloading workers, specifically regarding the understanding of workplace accident risks, hazard identification, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the administration of first aid. Through this program, IPCC aims to ensure that every worker operating within the terminal environment possesses adequate OHS knowledge and skills to carry out their daily operational duties.
The training curriculum is comprehensive, covering Law No. 1 of 1970 concerning Occupational Safety, OHS fundamentals and workplace hazard identification, the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and first aid procedures. All material is delivered by qualified instructors to ensure participants fully grasp the risks of workplace accidents and are capable of taking appropriate preventive measures and initial response actions. At the conclusion of the training series, participants will undergo an evaluation session to assess the knowledge gained over the two-day program.
The implementation of this program is supported by various stakeholders, including the Indonesian TKBM (Port Labor) Union, the North Jakarta Administrative City Sub-agency for Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy, and the Indonesian TKBM Training Agency. This collaboration reflects the importance of synergy among the company, the government, and labor organizations in strengthening the workplace safety culture within the port environment. IPCC management participated in the event, represented by the Director of Finance, HR, and Risk Management of PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk, the Senior Manager of HR and General Affairs, and the Jakarta Branch Manager. This multi-party synergy is expected to reinforce the shared commitment to creating a safe, orderly, and productive port work environment.
Regarding the implementation of this program, Wing Megantoro, Director of Finance, HR, and Risk Management at PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk, stated, "Port labor (TKBM) are a crucial part of the terminal's operational ecosystem, making their safety a non-negotiable responsibility.
