WELCOMING 2026, SERVING WHOLEHEARTEDLY, IPCC FACILITATES A HUMANITARIAN SHIP FOR SUMATRA

Jakarta, January 2, 2026 – Starting 2026, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) demonstrated its humanitarian commitment by facilitating the delivery of disaster relief to Sumatra through its Jakarta Domestic Terminal Branch. The aid, a collaboration between the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and Jusuf Kalla, was sent by sea to Aceh and North Sumatra. The aid release ceremony was also attended by H. Jusuf Kalla (Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2014–2019 period), Budi Gunadi Sadikin (Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia), Kathryn Clarkson (Head of Delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross), IPCC President Director Sugeng Mulyadi, and other stakeholders.

In this activity, the IPCC acted as the primary facilitator for the delivery of humanitarian aid, which included mini excavators, basic necessities, hygiene supplies, adult and baby clothing, kitchen utensils, generators, stationery, boots, and work equipment such as carts and hoes. The total aid delivered weighed 2,586 tons, with a value of approximately IDR 65 billion. All activities were carried out in accordance with port safety and security standards to ensure the safe and smooth delivery process.

H. Jusuf Kalla expressed his appreciation to all parties and PMI volunteers involved in distributing aid, while the Indonesian Minister of Health emphasized the importance of collaboration between all elements of society in responding to disasters quickly and effectively. In line with this, the IPCC, as part of the Pelindo Group, reiterated its commitment to continue supporting humanitarian activities by optimizing port services, so that aid can be distributed properly, quickly, and provide real benefits to disaster-affected communities in Sumatra.
