Jakarta, September 29, 2025. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) continues to demonstrate that business innovation is an integral part in improving the company's performance and establishing IPCC as a leading player in the vehicle logistics ecosystem, especially in the port sector under the management of Pelindo as the largest port manager in Indonesia. IPCC has succeeded in improving operational performance by carrying out loading and unloading of vehicle cargo (CBU, buses/trucks, and heavy equipment) handled until August 2025 amounting to 767,387 units, growing by 14.28% or 95,872 units (YoY). In addition to the cargo performance that experienced a solid record, the number of ship visits to the docks managed by IPCC until the period of August 2025 was recorded at 2,250 visits, a solid increase of 396 visits more (YoY) or 21.36%. Achievements in the ship visit sector which continues to grow from last year's performance are driven by 2 main factors, namely the increase in vehicle import and export activities in Indonesia and the addition of satellite terminals managed by IPCC.
Consolidated heavy equipment cargo handling until August 2025 amounted to 21,415 units, growing solidly by 30.71% YoY or 5,032 units more. This is influenced by the growth of National Strategic Projects (PSN) such as the development of the IKN (Nusantara Capital City), various downstream mining commodity programs, as well as the government program, namely the food estate in Eastern Indonesia which requires a lot of heavy equipment. The Semayang satellite terminal, located in Balikpapan City, recorded the highest performance of loading and unloading heavy equipment, namely 4,536 units. Operational performance in truck/bus cargo recorded an increase of 40.08% with a total of 148,101 units, an increase of 42,373 units YoY, which was recorded at 105,728 units. The growth in truck/bus cargo types is also influenced by two main factors, namely the plan of integrated bus-based transportation managers to revitalize their fleets with the need for Electric Buses and the government's target for energy and food self-sufficiency in 2025 by focusing on the mining, energy and plantation sectors. In the period until August 2025, the Semayang Satellite Terminal also became the largest in handling the most truck/bus cargo, namely 35,734 units. The company also recorded positive performance in handling CBU cargo until August 2025 with a total cargo handled of 597,871 units, an increase of 48,467 units or 8.82% YoY. The contribution of exports and imports of CBU cargo, one of which is BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle)-based CBU, recorded a significant increase, until the period of August 2025, IPCC carried out loading and unloading activities of 48,739 units. To illustrate, of the total CBU cargo handled by the IPCC through August 2025, 8.23% was BEV-based CBU, dominated by various brands from Asia and Europe. This increase was driven by vehicle imports, in line with the domestic BEV adoption trend and the green economy-based electric vehicle ecosystem and Net Zero Emissions (NZE) by 2060.
"IPCC's solid operational performance achievement until August 2025 and sustainable growth in accordance with the implemented business development plan such as vertical expansion strategy through (car distribution management) and horizontal expansion (car terminal network), the use of digitalization using the operating system (PTOS-C) at the domestic and international terminals of the IPCC Branch Jakarta which is integrated so as to provide added value and service certainty for service users. IPCC also continues to build positive communication and collaboration with various stakeholders both internal and external as a complementary ecosystem. By carrying out transformation in the field of operations and business patterns, as well as implementing an integrated digital system, the company is expected to be able to increase positive achievements that have a direct impact on better contributions through taxes and dividends for the state, shareholders and investors of the company," concluded Endah Dwi Liesly, Corporate Secretary of IPCC.
