COMPLETING 2024, IPCC PRESENTS TRANSFORMATION, SYSTEMIZATION & DIGITALIZATION OF VEHICLE TERMINALS

Jakarta, January 22, 2025. Car Terminals are an important component of the entire port ecosystem which is Pelindo's core business, especially in ensuring the flow of exports and imports of automotive commodities, trucks, buses, heavy equipment and general parts for large-scale manufacturing industries so that they can run well and smoothly. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) is present and ensures that service users get the best service which is supported by a reliable operating system and in accordance with global standard SLA/SLG.

In entering 2024, the IPCC has planned various transformations in operational areas, especially standardization and systemization in the work area of the Jakarta International Terminal Branch, where it was recorded that it succeeded in completing 91.7% of the overall target and we can feel this together in the Company's overall performance. IPCC Director of Operations and Technical , Bagus Dwipoyono said "The achievement of operational performance exceeding the set targets was obtained from the fulfillment of transformation in 6 (six) main pillars, namely: business processes, infrastructure and facilities, superstructure and equipment, human resources and organization, general and HSSE and technology".

Specifically in the technology sector, IPCC is collaborating with the Pelindo Group Subsidiary (ILCS) in creating the latest operational service application, namely PTOS-C, by presenting a cloud-based operational service system that is integrated with all other operational support applications and is able to connect with stakeholder applications (Customs) and service users (automakers and logistics).

Bagus added that in the transformation process, the Company has made various improvements in various aspects, starting from infrastructure and facilities, operational patterns, HSSE to improving the quality of human resources through certified training. In detail, Bagus detailed the transformation milestones at the IPCC which consisted of:
Infrastructure repair work (repairs of meter cadets, markings, signs and safety nets), repairs to field B, main road access, field O;
b.    Addition of CCTV at the Pier and Fields A and E;
c.    Addition of Access Points in Parking Buildings and Warehouses;
d.    Increased HSE patrol time and facilities;
e.    Shift & Safety Briefing regularly every change of work shift;
f.     Provision of Handheld Terminal; And,
g.    Smart & Safety Driving Training and SIO (Operating License) Updates to the operational team.

In ensuring security, smoothness and risk mitigation for potential accidents in the work area in accordance with the provisions of the ISPS Code, IPCC has made improvements to HSSE aspects, especially safety, such as optimizing terminal sterilization by implementing one gate access and single identity to ensure that only individuals who are interested and registered in the system can enter the terminal area. Safety Patrol on every work shift, joint patrols with law enforcement agencies as an effort to prevent crime from both the land and sea sides, regular Management Walkthroughs and implementation of the Terminal Safety Management program.

"Furthermore, Management needs to perfect the transformation programs and achievements that have been carried out as part of a culture of continuous improvement to provide the best service for all IPCC service users," said Bagus. The follow-up plans that will be implemented by the IPCC in 2025 are:
a.    Conduct FGD (focus group discussions) with stakeholders (Customs & Excise) regularly;
b.    Development of PTOS-C at international terminals & SIT Integration with Car Maker;
c.    Handheld Terminal Setup; And,
d.    Familiarization of transformation with service users.

"All the transformations we are carrying out for the full year in 2024 are a form of the Company's commitment to providing the best service to service users and ensuring that what investors have entrusted to us through share ownership, will provide added value which ultimately supports the national economy," concluded Bagus.
