Jakarta, 27 February 2025, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) held an internal skills contest which aims to increase motivation, professionalism, competence and quality of work in order to measure and test the skills of superior and quality operational operators in the IPCC work environment, especially at the Jakarta Branch, both international and domestic terminals with an assessment team of 4 (four) judges from TMMIN (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia) and ADM (Astra Daihatsu Motor). Also present were the IPCC management represented by the IPCC Director of Operations and Technical, Bagus Dwipoyono, Assistant Manager VPLD of TMMIN, Vita Auliana along with staff and ADM Export-Import Logistics Department Head, Taufan Wahyu Utomo.
Located in the working area, the IPCC international terminal is divided into 2 (two) categories, namely the Driver Skill category and the LQ (Logistics Quality) Gate category. The initiation of this activity is in line with the Jakarta Branch program, namely "Turn Back Terminal Soul" which focuses on six main pillars, namely standardization and transformation of business processes, optimization of infrastructure and equipment, Human Resources, application of Information technology as well as HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) and PFSO (Port Facility Security Officer). Through this competition, improving HR skills is a real step in strengthening services from the terminal operational side. Furthermore, the winners in each category will be included in an external skills contest as a means of further proof and development as well as increasing the company's good name.
"It is hoped that holding the internal skills contest can be a game changer that can share insights and experiences to improve skills standards in the work environment, especially increasing individual capabilities which is a key factor in terminal transformation. "This also shows that the IPCC is never complacent and continues to make continuous improvements to meet expectations," said Bagus Dwipoyono.
"By holding this internal skills contest, it is hoped that it can improve the quality and skills of IPCC human resources so that they continue to operate in accordance with the best standards of the automotive industry, especially in loading and unloading services at ports, as well as strengthening the positive synergy between IPCC and Car Makers, maintaining good relationships and maintaining customer trust," said Taufan Wahyu.
"We as customers are very happy to be directly involved in the IPCC internal skills contest and it is hoped that through this program we can not only improve HR competency but also create a more professional, safe and highly competitive work environment in accordance with international standards," concluded Vita Auliana
It doesn't stop here, IPCC will hold an internal skills contest for all employees so that the same skills and knowledge can be created in the IPCC work environment.
