Jakarta, February 14 2025. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) continues its commitment to improving community welfare through the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (CSR). This TJSL activity was carried out in Kuningan Regency, West Java, at the Bratakasian Nature School, Pamijahan Village, Ciawi Gebang District. Coinciding with the IPCC National Working Meeting (Rakernas) on Wednesday (05/02/2025), this CSR activity is a real momentum for community development and empowerment as well as making a real contribution to developing regional potential through local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Starting from various main problems in the Kuningan area, West Java, such as limited access to clean water facilities, educational facilities, support for MSMEs and environmental conservation, the IPCC took the initiative to distribute TJSL to help overcome these 4 (four) main problems. The program implemented at the Bratakasian Nature School aims to support the availability of clean water facilities for the needs of prayer rooms and toilets, the provision of educational facilities for the learning needs of students, the creation of support to increase the productivity and competitiveness of MSMEs, as well as efforts to preserve biological wealth and support ecosystem balance by planting rare species of trees.
This activity was attended by various stakeholders consisting of regional representatives from the Kuningan Regency Education and Culture Office, Kuningan Regency Dispusipda, Pamijahan Village Head Anton Sutono, Chair of the Bratakasian Natural School Foundation Zaenal Mutakin, Babinsa and Ciawi Gebang Police. Top IPCC Management also attended, including Independent Commissioner LM. Arya Bima Yudiantara, Director of Finance, HR and Risk Management, Wing Megantoro, Endah Dwi Liesly as Corporate Secretary and involving 30 IPCC people through the ESR (Employee Social Responsibility) program. Wing Megantoro said "that this activity is the Company's support for sustainability in the world of education, the environment and MSMEs with the hope that what is provided in this activity can be useful and provide added value for the people of Ciawi Gebang District, IPCC and Pelindo Group."
"Increasing community welfare, empowering beneficiaries, strengthening social relations and sustainable impacts as principles for implementing the Company's ESG are the keys to implementing this CSR program," said Arya Bima.
The form of support provided in various fields at this CSR event, such as empowering MSMEs, was focused on the food MSME sector, IPCC provided assistance to increase production in the form of 5 sets of equipment consisting of a stove, oven, blender mixer, frying pan and packaging equipment. In the education sector, adding 10 sets of study tables and chairs and repairing the ceramic floors of study classes are the most important things to prioritize. For religious facilities, there are also areas where assistance is provided in terms of building and painting supporting facilities for prayer rooms, such as making ablution places and clean water facilities, which also provide water for the daily needs of the community, which is very important because the impact is not only for the Bratakasian Natural School but also for the wider community. The core activity is the symbolic handing over of aid to 4 (four) focus areas and is closed by planting tree seedlings of rare species which must be preserved and maintain the sustainability of the ecosystem as many trees as Kupa Tree Seedlings, Cereme Trees and Sandalwood Trees.
"We really appreciate the enthusiasm of the people of Pamijahan Village, Ciawi Gebang District towards IPCC Management for this CSR activity and hope that through this program we can help improve the community's economy and a better quality of life in the future. "The hope is that the IPCC can consistently and sustainably support community empowerment in the Company's various work areas," concluded Endah Dwi Liesly.
