IPCC HANDLES INITIAL EXPORT OF MITSUBISHI PAJERO SPORT TO AUSTRALIA

Jakarta, February 2 2024. PT Indonesia Vehicle Terminal Tbk (IPCC) handles the first export of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport to Australia. A total of 193 Pajero Sport units departed from Indonesia using the KM Jasa Murni ship on January 29 2024 at the IPCC international pier, Tanjung Priok.
"In this case, IPCC is proud and optimally provides excellent service as a port service provider in the automotive sector. "We hope to continue to help smooth vehicle exports in order to increase global competitiveness to meet the development of the Indonesian and global automotive industry," said IPCC Main Director, Sugeng Mulyadi.

Sugeng Mulyadi also added that the IPCC continues to encourage increased vehicle exports from Indonesia to other countries so that the Indonesian automotive industry can compete and be accepted in foreign markets. During 2023, IPCC will handle 12,697 Mitsubishi units for import and 79,617 units for export.
As is known, the Pajero Sport in Indonesia is produced at the Mitsubishi factory in Bekasi, West Java. The factory has produced the Pajero Sport, Xforce, Xpander, Xpander Cross and most recently the L100 EV electric car starting December 2023. The opportunity to export cars made in Indonesia to Australia is open after the implementation of the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA).
