Jakarta June 17, 2024. In order to welcome Eid al-Adha 1445 H/2024 AD, PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk with the stock code (IDX:IPCC) continues to strengthen the Company's positioning and usefulness in the community through the IPCC Cares for Sharing Sacrificial Animals program. This year, IPCC allocated 22 sacrificial animals (14 cows and 8 goats) which were distributed to the community and stakeholders in all the Company's business areas. Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management, Wing Megantoro, said that management interprets the commemoration of Eid al-Adha as a manifestation of gratitude and sincere sharing with others.
We hope that the presence of IPCC will not only be a company engaged in providing vehicle terminal services to provide excellent service through modern and world class facilities and systems, but can also provide wider benefits for customers, stakeholders, investors and the general public in all IPCC business areas from the westernmost part of Indonesia, namely Medan, to the easternmost part of Indonesia, namely Makassar. In the future, we plan to develop the business area up to NTB to build connectivity between car terminals. "This Eid al-Adha momentum has become a routine IPCC annual activity to continue to build friendship and closeness with residents around the IPCC work area by distributing aid for sacrificial animals," said Wing.
The target recipients of sacrificial animals are the general public and agencies located around the business area, representatives of the Regional Government, in this case the Cilincing District, religious foundations and correctional institutions. The slaughtering of sacrificial animals at the IPCC Head Office, 1 cow and 1 goat, involved volunteers from Company workers or what are called IPCC Personnel.
Corporate Secretary, Roro Endah Dwi Liesly Puspita Sari, added that the implementation of the program for distributing sacrificial animal assistance in the TJSL program is in line with the focus of SDGs number 1 (No Poverty), number 2 (No Hunger), and number 3 (Healthy and Quality Life) which are aims to meet basic needs, eliminate hunger, and achieve food security and good nutrition. "The IPCC believes that, even though it is only held once a year, it is hoped that it can help communities around the IPCC Office and our business areas to be able to consume meat as additional physical nutrition," said Endah.
The sacrificial animals distributed specifically to the Jakarta area and surrounding areas were obtained from local breeders around West Java, so the IPCC hopes that this CSR program can also help improve the economy and welfare of local breeders. This is in line with the IPCC's commitment to implementing the role of social responsibility and a sustainable environment for a more advanced and prosperous Indonesia.
