Jakarta, November 26, 2025. PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) and PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IDX:IPCC) reaffirmed their commitment and strengthened their strategic collaboration to support the development of young talent through the Port Connect 2025 program, coinciding with the commemoration of National Teachers' Day 2025.
Themed "Confident Youth, Connected Ports, Stronger Economy," this event served not only as an educational platform but also as a symbol of the synergy between education and the port industry, as well as a manifestation of the implementation of sustainable corporate social and environmental responsibility. The event, held in the Multipurpose Room of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Jakarta State University, attracted 100 keynote attendees, including students, lecturers, and industry practitioners. The keynote speakers were Dwi Rahmad Toto Sugiarto (Director of Commercial & Business Development) and Sugeng Mulyadi (President Director of IPCC), who delivered the Port Insight Talk Cluster Business Multipurpose.
This discussion highlighted the role of multipurpose ports not only as cargo transit points but also as integrated economic hubs through the formation of business clusters.
In addition to the insight-sharing session, the event also featured a Thematic Discussion with students from the Public Relations and Digital Communications Study Program and the Port Management and Maritime Logistics Study Program, moderated by experienced academics and practitioners.
This activity was designed to open up interactive dialogue, enrich students' perspectives on the dynamics of the port industry, and foster a spirit of cross-sector collaboration.
Furthermore, the company's commitment to education was demonstrated by providing educational support equipment to outstanding students from both study programs. This initiative affirms the commitment of PTP Nonpetikemas and IPCC to supporting the younger generation to better prepare them to face global challenges.
Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Jakarta State University (UNJ), Dr. Kurniawati, M.Si., stated, "This company introduction program, specifically for the port sector, for academics in the two departments of Social Sciences and Public Relations and Maritime Transportation and Logistics Management, serves as a key gateway to broaden students' horizons. The reality is that the world of work isn't limited to civil service; a career in a private company can be a viable option."
"For IPCC, Port Connect is concrete evidence that collaboration across companies and the educational sector can produce a generation that is not only confident but also ready to compete globally. We are committed to continuing to support initiatives that strengthen the port ecosystem while simultaneously providing positive social impacts for the community," said Sugeng Mulyadi, President Director of IPCC.
"It's an important bridge between academia and industry, as well as a means to foster social awareness of education," said Dwi Rahmad Toto Sugiarto, Director of Commercial and Business Development at PTP Nonpetikemas.
As part of the event series, students were also invited to participate in the "Add Yours" competition via Instagram Stories, with the concept "A Day in My Life." This competition encouraged students' creativity in documenting their experiences during the event, while also expanding the reach of educational messages through social media.
With the Go Green spirit embodied in every activity, demonstrating the concept of sustainability as a governance principle for both the IPCC and PTP Non-container, all participants were introduced to the Zero Plastic Waste campaign by providing eco-friendly tumblers that could be refilled repeatedly as needed.
Port Connect 2025 served not only as an educational forum but also as a symbol of sustainable collaboration between ports, education, and the community.
