STRENGTHENING CONNECTIVITY AFTER 3 YEARS OF PELINDO MERGER, IPCC OPERATES TRISAKTI RORO TERMINAL, BANJARMASIN

Jakarta, October 1, 2024. PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk with stock code (IDX: IPCC), continues to play an active and consistent role in implementing ship operator transfers where IPCC plays the role of managing RORO (Roll On-Roll Off) terminals in Pelindo areas which have previously been handed over to operate by Pelindo Mult Terminal in line with the results of the study of Pelindo's strategic program, namely Business Refinement. Taking place in Makassar at the Pelindo Forum 2024 IPCC activity, signing a Cooperation Agreement for Operation and Maintenance of the RoRo Trisakti Banjarmasin Terminal with Pelindo Multi Terminal, this is also a merger celebration gift from the IPCC to Pelindo.

As a form of implementation/commitment to Beyond the Gate's business development strategy to encourage revenue enhancement of the Company's performance, the IPCC proves that by signing this Aggrement, one of the strategic plans to expand the work area and build connectivity which in the end can provide added value and create value creation from interconnected services between terminals previously managed by the Company, namely, Jakarta, Medan, Pontianak, Balikpapan and Makassar. IPCC Main Director, Sugeng Mulyadi said that the operation of the Trisaksi Satellite Terminal, Banjarmasin is a collaboration in one multipurpose business cluster under the management of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Subholding where IPCC focuses on 3 (three) main businesses, namely vehicle terminal operators, car terminal support businesses and car distribution management.

"Another strategic thing in signing this Agreement is to carry out transformation and standardization of car terminal services with a scheme of copying the transformation and standardization that has been carried out in previous IPCC work areas, such as improving operational processes, increasing HC competency, improving terminal infrastructure, fulfilling supporting tools and implementing technology. "information to the Banjarmasin satellite terminal so that it can optimize land potential and productivity which ultimately can increase revenue and profits for the Company and the Pelindo Group," said Sugeng. In operating the Trisakti Banjarmasin Satellite Terminal, IPCC always prioritizes the safety and security aspects of workers in carry out loading and unloading services at car terminals so that customers can calmly send their cargo through terminals managed by IPCC.

At the Trisaksi Satellite Terminal, Banjarmasin IPCC will operate a car terminal with an average throughput of 39,000 units per year, a 0.4 Ha storage area and various other supporting facilities for the RoRo terminal. With the inauguration of the operation of this satellite terminal, it is hoped that IPCC's performance will accelerate in the future and can become an enabler of vehicle terminals and complement the connectivity that IPCC has built as the manager of vehicle terminals on the island of Kalimantan which previously operated, namely Pontianak and Balikpapan, where the island of Kalimantan is known. "With the results of its natural resources, it requires a supply of heavy equipment and vehicles to support mining and development activities," concluded Sugeng.
